My Favorite Christmas Movies
During the holiday season, it is always fun to curl up with some cocoa next to a roaring fire and watch your favorite holiday movies. I especially like decorating the tree and letting movies that I’ve seen every Christmas for years and years play in the background. It truly brings out the holiday spirit in me. So, I’ve decided to give everyone a little Christmas cheer by suggesting my top favorites for you to watch with your family and friends this year.
- Elf
- How the Grinch Stole Christmas
- White Christmas
- Disney’s A Christmas Carol (With Mickey Mouse and Friends)
- The Polar Express
- A Charlie Brown Christmas
- Miracle on 34th Street
- It’s A Wonderful Life
- Frosty the Snowman
- The Santa Claus (1 and 2)
These are just a few of many that I thoroughly enjoy. Whether I watched them during my childhood because they were favorites of my parents or they came out more recently and I’ve seen them with my friends, all these movies have the ability to render me simply merry.
This is also another great way to get through the stress of exam week! When you need to take a study break, throw on a Christmas movie, pop some popcorn and relax! TV stations are always playing holiday movies at this time of year, so you may catch a Claymation story on ABC Family, or a hilariously stupid, yet romantic, Lifetime Christmas classic. If you do not have time for a full movie, try to find holiday episodes of your favorite shows. I personally love the holiday episodes of Glee!
Once you finish your exams, you will be home for the holidays and will be able to enjoy a stress-free couple of weeks with family and friends. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!
